THE STAGING PROCESS
First, we visit the property, take notes and formulate a strategy. Follow-up includes a formal presentation of what can be done, taking into account whether it's a vacant property, whether the home is occupied, furnished or unfurnished, your budget, etc.
We offer two levels of service: Basic Consultation
Complete Interior Design Staging
Naturally, time is of the essence. Our quick turnaround is legendary among clients. At a recent development, we had just weeks to fully stage 17 models for a grand opening. Not only did all 17 sell within three weeks, but the client hired us to decorate several more units for additional buyers.
Some of our strategies for success have included:
• Existing furnishings used in creative new ways.
• Utilization of color to update, neutralize or energize a space.
• Accessories strategically added to enhance a property.
• A vacant home furnished to capitalize on the home’s best features.
• A cluttered home simplified, rearranged and opened up spacially.
CAN YOU AFFORD NOT TO STAGE?
Your property can look spectacular for a small investment relative to the returns you’ll realize. The Wall Street Journal found that staged homes sell twice as quickly as non-staged homes. More pizzazz = less time on the market = more profit.
NOTE TO REALTORS
One of the hidden advantages for Realtors when partnering with Staging Chicago is the level of attention we can provide owners one-on-one. As many brokers know, it can be time consuming to prep a home for sale, and difficult for an owner to accept “design advice” from a salesperson; especially if it means having to suggest removing cherished personal items for showings. Our expertise extends to working closely with owners to make sure they’re comfortable and happy, helping your clients become team players in the sale.
NOTE TO DEVELOPERS
You have your hands full with contractors and deadlines. With our track record, you can confidently leave the interior design staging to us. |
